Executive Committee
The Executive Committee is the operational management body of the Group. It is chaired by the Chairman and Chief Executive Offi cer and is composed of the Chief Executives of the Group’s vertical operating businesses (Marine, GSIT, Consumer Products and Commodities), the Chief Executives of the major geographic zones and the four businesses which form the Industry & Facilities division, and of the support functions.
The Executive Committee examines and approves questions and decisions relating to the Group’s strategy and general organization. It adopts the policies and procedures set for general application for the Group as a whole. In addition, each of the four vertical businesses, as well as the Industry & Facilities division, has its own Executive Committee.
On March 23, 2011, the Executive Committee is composed of 17 members, including the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer and the Executive Officers:
